Junior member, and outstanding breed ambassador, Makayla Saunders (Ghinni Ghinni stud) and her parents Scott & Megan (Take 2 stud) jetted off to the USA in late December as a guest of the US British White Park Association.

Makayla has a talent and passion for training and showing cattle. She is a regular participant at local shows and has built a show team of enthusiastic local kids who she’s taught the art of preparing and showing cattle.
So, with enthusiasm and initiative in spades, it wasn’t surprising that Makayla chased down an opportunity to attend the famous Cattlemen’s Congress in Oklahoma, USA. After seeing a Facebook post from a US breeder seeking help to show their cattle, Makayla reached out and her offer of assistance was not only accepted, her trip was sponsored by the American British White Park Association. The British White Cattle Society of Australia and private individuals also pitched in to help make the trip possible.
