Various primary production representative bodies have decried the passing of legislation heralding changes to the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act in a deal between the Government and the Greens.
The principal concerns relate to famer’s ability to manage the land including vegetation management, land productivity, weed management, limit farmer’s ability to participate in carbon projects and will ultimately drive-up food prices.
