ABRI has been working on a new system to replace their outdated ILR system. The new system will provide a Registry Portal (allowing members or breed societies to process their own registrations and transfers) and new online database search functionality.
Since April 2025 Manager of Member Services, Lucy Olson has been working with a dedicated team from ABRI, testing the online database search function and carrying out data cleansing. ABRI expects the new system to go live in October. From what we’ve seen the new search function is a vast improvement on the existing one. It allows enhanced filtering of data, provides key details for each animal on one page and offers greater security of data.
Full details will be provided to members ahead of the switch over including user guides. We expect to be able to provide a full demonstration at the upcoming Annual General Meeting in October.
