Gentons in the UK, who produce and export rare breed cattle embryos advised they are in the process of putting a tank together for Australia and have some spare space. If members have been in discussion with any UK British White breeders regarding importation of embryos they may like to get in touch with Bertrand Facon (gentons.longhorns@gmail.com) regarding possibly including them in the tank and sharing costs.
Member, Will Randall (Dieman’s Ridge) noted their British White embryo program came out of their partnership with Gentons and that they had found Gentons to be professional and thoughtful.
Will said “We operated one of the largest recip programs over the last 3 years.” They undertook over 500 rare breed embryo transfers.
